DVI (Digital Visual Interface) is widely a common interface for flat screen monitors and LCD monitors. The traditional CRT (Cathode Ray Tube) style monitor is used with HD-15 pin connector and its radiation is higher than LCD monitors. The heavy CRT monitors have been replaced by the new arrival of DVI monitors.
Traditional KVM Switches work with HD-15 pin connectors but are not compatible with DVI monitors.
